You said you have adjusted the keep alive, but have you also confirmed
your router/firewall are allowing the keep alive transmissions? Many
net admins routinely block that kind of traffic.

Yes the sessions drop either way.
We have been adjusting the timeout settings.
Maybe we don't have them set high enough.

I can confirm we had the same problem when testing our DR plan (uses
SonicWall). Our DR vendor fixed and I don't know what it was exactly.
There is some kind of timeout. If you use the PC client, do the sessions
drop like they do through the tunnel?
