On quick further note on my CR3 running 7.7.7. It did take a little
"tweaking" to get it done so I think there are some restrictions on the
older HMCs.

Thanks Jim,

Very useful site, but I was actually after which models of HMC will run
which versions of the HMC software. That is, can I upgrade a model 7042-CR4
to V7R760? I'm guessing maybe not, but how do I find out the latest version
I can upgrade this model to?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm sure someone has asked this before, but I can't find an answer in the
archives. Does anyone know of an IBM site that shows the supported HMC
models for each level of the HMC OS? I have 7042CR4 and I want to know what
the highest level I can upgrade to is.

Thanks

Adam Driver
