I recall way back when having an issue with new ADMIN ports. nothing as
high as yours. we had a problem with a 3rd party software that had one of
the ports for the new ADMIN server.

IBM shared the following with us to change the ADMIN port after our upgrade
to V6R1:

QSH CMD('export JAVA_HOME=/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk50/32bit
&&
cd /qibm/proddata/os/osgi/lwi71/native &&
lwichangeport.sh admin -lwiadminport 2025')

Our site is using Content Manager (an older but still supported product).
It requires port 31015
We found this morning after an ipl the http ADMIN server job using 31015
(and Content Manager prestart job would not start).
Is there a maintenance to reserved ports?
This is V6R1 and not on current cume (not my control), but also google not
finding a ptf
This has run for many years so assume it was a random selection of a port
by the Admin server under ipv6.
