Yeah, I don't think anyone pays list. In general, not any product in
particular, list is always high so they can charge x% of list for
maintenance. Towards the EOL the cash cow products go sky high in price
because they are already not making new sales and are living off of
maintenance. Just a general rule of thumb in business.
