I have seen this type of behavior when more than just the iSeries prints to a printer. The iSeries writer already put the printer into 15 CPI mode so it does not re-send the commands. If the printer is changed by a PC printing to it, a different writer on the iSeries, or power cycled, the iSeries writer does not know of the change and does not tell the printer to print at 15 CPI because it already did so.

Also as a side note, Hope you are secure in you job cause if any one of the individual alluded to in your comments below reads this online, well God knows what will happen. 8>(



My guess (and it's only that, mind you) is that both of the
girls in the office, being "well endowed" may have accidentally set/reset
something. But, then, there is the district manager, which has a wide
butt;
maybe he leaned against something. .-)
