A company (ISV) in Florida called Educational Data Resources is using
IBM i and the Zend Server to produce software to run K12 school
districts. The software includes 100% of what the district needs,
student applications, teacher, parent, administration, payroll, HR, the
whole works. The system is written in PHP and COBOL. (no, it ain't dead
yet.....)
Then there's Allstate Insurance, CDW, GM Manufacturing, and a bunch more.
