On your second part, maybe it would be better if the people who publish
"recommended PTFs" upgraded them into the related group ptf (if any) and
were allowed to release that particular group ptf more often. Oh well,
I'd rather have to deal with "recommended PTFs" then not to know about
them unless I was willing to take the mind numbing task of browsing each
individual PTF out there.
