OK, so I've set the PC to a static IP. I've also deleted the extraneous Service Tools Device IDs - there were about 12 that had auto-configed in all my messing around. I now just have two - QCONSOLE and QCONSOLE00. Since Operations Manager shows the device ID as QCONSOLE00, I have disabled QCONSOLE. I have also changed the attributes of QCONSOLE00 so that both Ops Console and Remote Panel access are 'Granted'.

So, now I am getting a Control Panel! Yay - progress! Except now, the console won't connect??? What am I doing wrong here? I sure miss the days of just plugging the twinax terminal into the right port of the controller...

Make sure you are enabled in SST using the work with service tools device id's, then check change attributes.

Lan console requires static IP or at least the same IP always (you can
reserve IP at the dhcp server).
You also need to create aditional QCONSOLE definitions, otherwise
console shouldnt work due to the security certificates the connection
creates the first time...
Are you sure LAN console is working at all?

Is IP address of new console the same as the old one?

Also, there was a CA package I had to install when our console
needed to be replaced. I may have notes somewhere.
