It's been a while since I was able to configure a system. I didn't want to go old school, but I know now I need to get more documentation and spend the weekends reading.

Guesting prior to that allows you to have multiple partitions without
having to have shovel out money for separate disk controllers, disk
protection, etc. With the only drawback to guesting being the dependency.
Since I want to be able to individually restore objects I want a full
system save done on my guested lpars once a quarter and I will not rely
upon just the nwsstg of the hosting partition (in fact, I flag that
directory as save(*no)).

How does one "school up"?
