Note that Tim Rowe of IBM ( who manages the IBM i Apache server software team ) has already stated IBM has no current plans to replace the Apache based HTTP server on IBM i. Keep in mind the IBM HTTP server based on Apache is updated to run on IBM i and has several features that base Apache does not support and vise versa.
