We have a call with Ariba tomorrow to learn more.

Basically our customer has a customer who is asking them to send and receive order data using Ariba.

Ariba has said that they support AS2 transmissions.

In my eyes I think of us uploading and downloading order data from Ariba, but it's probably more than that.

That's why I was confused when they talked about the need to set up our own AS2 server.

Will know more tomorrow :-)

If the customer has an AS2 server of their own, there would be little point in paying for Ariba.

How are they sending the data to Ariba? What transport mechanism and what data format?

Getting the data from Ariba depends on what Ariba supports.
