IDK if, since it is an identical file, if it would perform faster to do a
CREATE TABLE NEWTABLE AS (SELECT * FROM OLDTABLE) WITH DATA
vs
INSERT INTO NEWTABLE VALUES (SELECT * FROM OLDTABLE)
