We had WebSphere Application Server - V6.1.0.0 Express with an AppServer running. After the upgrade the list of Application Servers no longer lists the previous copy and now only shows one named under Integrated Web Application Server - V7.1 (int app svr) the server: WQLWI7.

When you say webfacing, what product. Does the HTTP server not run, check the logs and or your webfacing logs. If using websphere the older versions should continue to run under the new os(I would think they would). Do you have all group ptfs installed as well.

Do not see any. What I find odd is the app server that was running
before the upgrade is not listed but the folder still exists. I tried
to add it back and that failed.

The first thing I always look for in server startup issues [after
an upgrade], is for authority failures; i.e. review for and resolve
any T-AF entries logged in the audit journal.
