There's a few things I like about IBM i Access for Windows vs the Java
client. I do not think the Windows client should be dropped.
- iNav. I know the big push is for the web version but it's still lacking
a lot. Like how to start the http admin client. :-) Support for
multiple servers in Management Central (or is that there?).
- Integration into Windows. I log into Windows and use my Windows
credentials for 5250. A real show stopper for a SSO/EIM shop with no
local password management for the IBM i account.

Really, just how hard is it to modify the client for Windows 8 support?
It's been out long enough. I didn't put up with crap from my vendors when
they were too slow to get on the 6.1 or 7.1 bandwagon and I replaced them.
IBM needs to step up to the plate.
