I just now spoke with our Sys Admin: - he was not aware of IBM Navigator,
but since he is, soon, going to load ptf's, he may find time to look into
this new web thing.

Try going to this:
http://youribmi:2001
replace youribmi with the name of your lpar of IBM i.
If it says "IBM Navigator for i" with a lot of IBM blue around it and a blue circle with "i for business", you're on the new version.
