IMO...

Digest mode should be removed from Midrange.com

News from Midrange.com should be removed - as the mails
always screws up my "Windows Mail" (restarting) when mails
are mixed (right now I have to delete all news mail).

Subject: Digest mode subject lines

Guys - most of us who use digest mode have made the mistake of failing to change the subject line etc. from time to time. Do we really need to go all ape-shit over it?

I try my best to remember - but sometimes in trying to respond quickly I forget.

Does anybody read all of the pre-amble every time they get a digest? I doubt it - it kinda defeats the point. So despite what some might think, the fact that the correct protocol is spelled out in every single digest message really does absolutely nothing to help me remember. Publicly berating me isn't likely to help either - a gentle personal reminder might be more appropriate.

Just my opinion - but the last thing I want is for this to become one of those dreadful internet forums where no newbie ever dare pose a question for fear of annoying the gods of protocol.
