I wouldn't want to sway you or anyone else new to System i from posting to the list. All I'm asking is that you attempt to google first because at one time I didn't know the answer to every question you are posting and every answer came from searching. I don't own the list, nor am I an old member. I also can't speak for everyone else only for me ;)

I did google and locate the db2 part but that was a mistake I made not looking for db2 for i.
Buck was kind to steer me on right path. really, I do understand that I come off as not that smart
on as/400. I am just swamped with new projects and trying to learn quickly. I apologize
