Responding to a number of off-list inquiries. The Linkedin discussion is:

One caveate. It's a long running discussion with quite a bit of distraction
about the proper branding of the platform (IBM i on Power vs. legacy
naming).

Anyone have experience wth Vormittag Associates (VAI) and their
S2K ERP package?

There is an interesting discussion on Linkedin about an electronics
distributor considering Prophet 21, Sage 100 (both based on Progress 4GL,
OpenEdge DB, Wintel), vs VAI S2K (IBM i, ILE RPG based).

I don't know much about VAI, but they advertise as a best of breed product,
and I identify with their support for ILE RPG / IBM i.
