At my previous employer, there were two systems - Dev & Prod. For whatever
reason, the default on SBMJOB on one was *JOBD and the other was *CURRENT.
What a mess...... especially when people had (to) come up with workarounds
due to the difference. No idea why they had been setup that way and no one
could explain why - they just lived with it.

I ended up creating a SETLIBL command which would set your interactive job
LIBL to match a specified job description. And, yes, used the API's to do
so.
SETLIBL *JOBD MyLib/MyJobd
