Simple answer with my MIMIX experience, they do not get fired in the slave site (dr site) but the programs (triggers) get replicated.

Subject: In a HA environment: Do triggers fire when a database record gets
updated?

Folks:

I've got a customer who has a HA environment (I'm not sure what HA system though).

They have our product replicated on the slave system, but some components aren't working correctly.

Do database triggers fire, on the slave system, when a record update is replicated from the host? Is this dependent on the HA system?

Thanks!

david
