We've been on 6.1 for a while now, and we are heavy users of CGIDEV2 in a Web server environment. We didn't have any CGIDEV2 issues related to the 6.1 installation that I can recall.

We did have an issue with a PTF (SI42422) we applied last year. It changed the behavior of zhbGetInput, which parses the request string from the web server. It sounds like you're not using it in a Web environment, so this may be irrelevant to you.

CGIDEV2 may also be more popular on the web400 list also hosted by midrange.com

You could try querying there for CGIDEV2 and 6.1 or 7.1

Pete Massiello asked:
subject: RE: Upgrading from V5 to V7
Do you have a program in that library that hasn't passed ANZOBJCVN ? is
this why you are asking?

My reply: Honestly I asked because my boss asked me to find out the
answer.
It was my application that used the library.

I assume from your question, if it doesn't show up in the ANZOBJCNV, we're
fine.
Our Operations Manager will be doing the ANZOBJCNV.
