I do agree what that but in our case this emails goes to the people who would need to fix the problem and also go back to try and find out all the emails that should have been sent and never made it out and do what it takes to get them resent. That part is relatively easy for us also since we first write all emails we send to the database and then send them from the database and datetime stamp them as being sent

I've often discovered that people put a filter on such daily emails to put them automatically into a folder with slightly more prestige than "Junk".
