Even Brad's software (vastly superior to the base SMTP/MSF in my
view)will need to be monitored to be sure it's running.
Nope, it does everything "inline". When you call the MAILTOOL command
using MAILTOOL Plus it connects and delivers the email inline with the
job. No server jobs need to be running. Only TCPIP needs to be up and
running.
If TCPIP was down, you'd know pretty quick. :)
