It appears to me that the colossal failure of Agilysis Guest 360 impugns the architectural integrity of Lansa and Accelerator generated code as well as casting doubt on Agilysis senior management and developers. Microsoft platforms take a hit too.

A year or so ago I had a conversation with a software developer who worked for a Las Vegas casino who relentlessly predicted the death of the IBM i platform and pointed me to the following 3-minute promotional video of Guest 360.

He predicted that Guest 360 would completely replace Agilisys legacy IBM i based property management solution. The exaggerated hype juxtaposed against its woeful demise strikes a powerful contrast.

From the ITJUNGLE article:

"Agilysys struggled with performance issues with Guest360. The interfaces were slow, and as a result the product only attracted a handful of customers." "All but two of them have migrated to another Agilysys property management system."

"Most of the developers who worked on Guest 360 have left the company."

Evidently, there was little there for Agilysis to salvage. They pulled the plug, instead.
