I routinely perform maintenance on all of my equipment. Including
patches, restricted state full system saves, etc. I won't be a good
source for longetivity stories. And I sure as heck wouldn't be running
the same OS for 5 years! 7.1 will be the longest, at over 3 years (not
continuously).
