Sadly they were out of disk which is why we added disk and they had performance data retention days set to 1.
Disk response times aren't awesome but they are 10K SCSI on an old 720. Here's a snippet of 5 min intervals showing maximums. AVERAGE times for all disk units during this time is .020 .

Do you have performance data from before and after? You don't mention
what the disk response time is. I'd be looking at what the disk service
and wait times are. If significantly different, then I'd be checking
into the seek counts.

I'm thinking those jobs that use QTEMP are experiencing long seeks so
longer disk response times than they used to.
