I don't know how slow the lack of arms may make it but not having to
change media and make sure that the light on the DVD drive doesn't flash
for 10 seconds so that it's REALLY loaded is a huge plus. I've had a few
incidents where coworkers had issues with that. Can't blame them, their
more programmers than systems people and don't do some of this stuff on a
regular basis but I can't do it all. Another big plus is not getting to
the 4th disk of the install only to find that the media is bad.
