There is no reason to change back to dedicated disks. Tell the support
person the disk is virtual and then send them a screen shot of what the
hosting LPAR's WRKDSKSTS looks like.
MCHxxxx errors are problems in IBM code and cannot be fixed by tweaking
the hardware. Raise the severity of the ticket and continue to request
a fix.
