I've always thought as long as your Apache config limits properly things
should be ok. So a separate IP should be all that's needed.
The only attacks I've seen that may hurt are the SQL attacks where requests
are sent in hope of building new SQL statements that delete records, etc.
But that doesn't seem to be an issue here.
