I'm interested in trying out IBM i support for RDX which was announced in conjunction with TR5. It sounds like a good low-cost vehicle for backups via SAVSYS.
Initially I tried ordering an internal USB 2.0 docking station (8202-1103) from the Shop IBM web site, but that didn't work. BTW, I'm growing more and more convinced that IBM's store fronts are no more than facades.
Later I contacted my Account Rep at Ciber (our business partner) who received notice that the IBM 8202-1103 had been "withdrawn from marketing".
As an alternative, should I order an Imation RDS docking station off Amazon?
