Jeff,

With Google Cloud Print you can print to your google drive as an option,
but right now Google doesn't allow access to the APIs needed to work with
Google Drive (for our type of "non-browser" devices).

When they do, it will be an option for sure in my GreenTools for Google
Apps product. As will others. Right now it's just Google Cloud Print and
Google Calendar.

But, if you don't mind if the file goes right into the root dir of your
google drive, the Google Cloud Print option will work. I have asked the
Google Team to add options to use GCP to put it into Drive and a specific
directory, so far nothing. :)

Know what would be slick? A virtual printer whose output was Google Drive.

I don't believe this will help with rendering unless the printer has PDF

I believe this utility stuffs the raw PDF into a spool entry. That's
probably why it works with raw postscript files if you have postscript
printers.

Scott Klement has a teeny-tiny tool called PRTSTMF that does a fine job
of
stuffing files to printers... I used this to print Postscript based
invoices (from SAP) to our distribution center laser printers. Should
work fine for PDF as well...
