Think that last sentence is directed at me. My actual saying is that if
you're using a cursory you're PROBABLY wrong.

I can't argue that for display or printing (via RPG) a cursor is
required...at least right now. :)

You can load the subfile by using RLA (chain, read, etc) or via SQL.
I know there's a camp that says if you're using a cursor you're using SQL
