Hi Kirk,
The Advanced Job Scheduler can do it. I don't have a system with it on
it at the moment, but as I recall, there's a way to have it notify
individuals or groups of people when the job ends normally or
abnormally. Notification can be by email or program messages.

I was hoping not to code anything into existing programs etc. Was
wondering how much of this could be dome by using the Advanced Job
Scheduler, or do we need something Like Robot whatever.?

Hi Kirk
There are messages in the history log that contain the first 2 items -
CPF1164 has it, although some is kind of hidden. I wonder if TAATOOLs
doesn't have something to help analyze this.
There is also a job status exit point that can call a program when jobs
change status - something like that - not sure if it'd take care of
number 3. It'd also take care of the first 2, I think.

What are folks using these days to
#1 Track Job Start and End Times
#2 Job Completion Status
#3 Email when jobs hang or end abnormally?
