I want to thank everyone again for their assistance. I'm working on the system now when time allows; and just in case, I found a 10 foot twinax cable on ebay today & ordered it to eliminate the possibility of the baluns being bad.

Another question; during an IPL D-M, will the system attempt to read the optical drive more than once? I see codes changing on the panel, and they cycle back to the same one they started with after a while, but only see the optical drive flicker a couple of times after it powers up.
