Re: Program using API QUSLJOB

fixed

The clue was that no dates were displaying in the call window. Usually, you can see a date range and a range of calling times displayed. It took me a while to realize that that was what was missing....I should really just state in that calling window that there is no calling schedule found...

No worries. Happy to help out!

I have a service program that I have sent out to other people which
wrappers the QUSLJOB api. I can send it to you if you want.

Hi All,

I am not familiar with programming using API, and was wondering whether
anyone has a small CL program using API QUSLJOB, to come up with the
number
of Active job instances running for a given Job Name.

Without using API I could think of doing a WRKACTJOB to *PRINT, copy the
spool to physical file and then get the number of instances.

I was told that it is much simpler using the above API, so was looking
for
some help.

Thanks and regards.
