It may be a collector's item. Pry off the badge and stick it on your wall!

Frank Soltis told the story at the recent iBelieve event in NY.
Apparently, the branding was changed to make all servers belong to the
System naming, and ours was released first - System i5 with i5/OS. Within
a short time, System z, System p and System x were all released, and our
platform was asked to conform and remove the number. It was remove without
fanfare, the configurator and ordering tools were changed, and System i
lasted two years.

I expect there were a lot more servers shipped with the System i5 badge
before they ran out :-)

I guess we are special because our system has 'System i5' on the front

FWIW, there was never such a thing as i5. There was a System i5 for a
short time - maybe a month, but that was actually a System i before the
branding was finalized. And i5/OS was the name of the operating system
for only 2 years.
