Hi Jack,

Yes, it is the 64bit install (as far as I know).

What versions of iseries access, are you using 64bit versions of it as well.

Hi All,

We're in the process of migrating our web pages from Windows Server
2003 32bit to Windows Server 2008r2 64bit. I've installed the 64bit
ODBC drivers, IIS and all relative code for the website.

However, when I try to connect to the AS400 I am getting this error:

==========================

ADODB.Connection error '800a0e7a'

Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.
==========================

I rechecked and ensured the driver was installed. I have these two
drivers in the ODBC manager on the 2008r2 64bit server:

Name: Client Access ODBC Driver (32-bit)
Version: 12.64.00.00
Company: IBM Corporation
File: CWBODBC.DLL
Date: 11/12/2007

Name: iSeries Access ODBC Driver
Version: 12.64.00.00
Company: IBM Corporation
File: CWBODBC.DLL
Date: 11/12/2007

The connection string I am trying to use is this:
adoCon.Open "Provider=IBMDA400.DataSource.1;Persist Security
Info=False;User ID=<user>;Password=<password>;Data Source=<AS400 IP
Address>"

When I use the identical connect string on the old webserver I do not
get any nasty errors. When I try on the new webserver, I get the one above.

Any ideas where I might be going wrong?? I've tried changing the
connection strings, trying new drivers, etc., etc., but I end up with
the same result (or some variant that is still not letting me connect).

Thankee-sai!
