A fair number of us on this forum will use the FTP download rather than the director. Even though download director does have a restart capability, it always tends to have more troubles with large downloads. Works great for the smaller ones. The other thing that concerns me is if you have been trying to get the files for more than a couple of days, the files might not be available anymore and you would have to reorder them.

I suggest you reorder the PTFs/Groups you need and use the FTP download option. You'll get an email with very good instructions on how to download them to your PC or directly to the IBM i instance.
