No message shows in QSYSOPR but it does show in the log. It will show in CHKASPBAL as well.

Once down to the dregs then on i 7.1 you can go into service tools, work with disk units, work with removing units from configuration. From there select the correct units and they will be concurrently removed.

Next you'll want to exclude that device from RAID which unfortunately requires dedicated system (DST)

When that's done, I suspect I'll see a message in QSYSOPR. Also I'll see
that CHKASPBAL should say it's done. I think WRKDSKSTS will still show a
miniscule amount of data on it. To clear that last bit off is that
something I can do in SST or do I have to use DST?
