I've got a 1/4" cobalt tipped drill bit that I use on occasion...makes less
noise than using a .50 on it and just as effective.... Punch a few holes
in it and even though the NSA could probably get some stuff off of it, they
probably already know it anyway... :)

By the time we decommission a system, it's got no resale value left in
it. And we just physically remove all the drives, before handing it over
to the scrapper.
