Why on earth would anyone actually move to California unless they absolutely
had to? State is essentially bankrupt, downside is huge.

Well the population of California is increasing, although I assume it's
increasing in every state. Not where what exodus you're referring to.
For comparison, I also selected the wonderful land of Wisconsin.

With all due respect, why would you want to move into California when so
