RE: Print images to network printer

fixed

Right. Scanner output.

This is a vendor response:
We (RJS) have totally i utilities to facilitate printing such files through spool files to network printers. Some of them involve ghostscript running in PASE. One (which is very fast, by the way) copies the CCITT Group IV bi-tonal image content from the TIFF or PDF to a MODCA-P stream which you can then print through PRTAFPDTA.

The files will be either PDF or TIF. Older files are TIF and newer ones are PDF.

What kind of "images"? TIFF? JPEG?

I have a requirement to be able to print images stored on our IFS on a
business group's printer. Some of these print requests can run into
the tens of thousands of pages.

Is anyone printing images to network printers from the i? If so,
would you mind sharing how you do it?
