As others have already mentioned, this is an IBM bug in Client Access. I
am also fairly sure it is related to 64 bit PCs.

I'm running Client Access 7.1 with service pack level SI44594 - which I
think is from January this year, so the bug has been fixed for at least 8
months, probably longer.

No additional software needed. Just the latest service pack.

Makes sense but I just tried it... did not work. Gets stuck in the file
"~drgdrp.tmp" as well...

If I remember correctly, it has been a while, one work around was to
select your spool files, right click, and copy. Then right click and
paste on your destination. I think the issue was only on drag and drop,
not copy/paste.
