Device MRA252143 is varied OFF.

WRKOBJLCK shows

BINTER QSYS *EXCLRD REQ *JOB 00000003
QCMNARB03 QSYS *EXCLRD HELD *JOB

Right now, I am wondering if we have "too many" devices in one or both interactive subsystems.

On v5r4. Not current on cume. YEARS behind.

This morning, so far, three workstations quit.

Turn off the computers. Vary the devd off. Locks still held by
QSYSARB and the interactive subsystem. One DEVD still retained the IP
address.

Delete DEVD, recreate. User still gets message that device is unavailable.

Any suggestions?
