I have style battles all the time. Yes, it's not uncommon for someone
editing someone else code in RPG to break out of free format to put in
their mod. Converting all to fixed format would be downright silly. I
consider the same for your CL. However, there are people out there who
finally get their department to settle on a style - only to find out it's
totally not what they want and now they have to follow "the standard". Be
grateful you're not there (quite).

What prompter: SEU or RDP?

Does RDP have the capability to change the style to match yours? Much
like they have the capability to change all fixed format RPG to free
format?

Isn't it amazing how those who prefer fixed format RPG over parameterized
RPG will change CL from this:
...+... 1 ...+... 2 ...+... 3 ...+... 4 ...+... 5 ...+... 6 ...+... 7
...+.
DCL &APOS *CHAR 1 /* Apostrophe */
DCL &PARM1 *CHAR 2 /* */
DCL &PARM2 *DEC 2 /* */

to this

.+... 2 ...+... 3 ...+... 4 ...+... 5 ...+... 6 ...+... 7
DCL VAR(&APOS) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(1) /* +
Apostrophe */
DCL VAR(&PARM1) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(2) +
/* +
*/
DCL VAR(&PARM2) TYPE(*DEC) LEN(2) +
/* +
*/

There's a gent on Linked-In who FUBARed his SEU and was trying to fix it.
I suggested some fixes but also noted this might be an opportune time to
switch over to RDP.
