Thanks Ken. I did all that. It appears that the AJS is removing important single quotes from the parm when submitting a job. This causes any embedded spaces or * within a parm string to behave like a delimited and mess up the parm values.

Can you please look at my OP and see if there is anything I can do to make this work correctly?

From the IJS menu look under Job Controls. You'll see a Work with Parameters option.

Define your parameter there and then refer to it by the name you assign in your CLP.
