Rob with your BRMS, what are you using a TS3200 tape drive.

In a true replication environment if I accidentally deleted that file from

There's pros and cons.

Perhaps they do not have replication between the two. Doesn't mean that
they won't aid you in a DR situation. For example BRMS spools up a nice
report on how to recover our system from scratch. All the way on how to
IPL from tape, which volumes I need, etc. Really good. Every day I
transfer that spool file as a PDF to two Windows servers in two different
time zones and vastly different latitudes. If the server 17 miles away is

clobbered by the same tornado then I can get it from our friends south of
the border.

This sounds dumb to me, but I thought I would ask people far more in the
know.

I am to send multiple files to TWO servers. One is their DR serv4er.
From what I can tell, they are using just Windows. So, is it stupid
that I have to send data to both? They claim it is for DR, but this
sounds like (again, to me) like they really don't have a true DR
environment.

It isn't a big hassle. Just seems wrong to me. And, I am seeking
enlightenment from the gurus.
