There is a technique that should get everything - send a PGM message at the start with returning a msg key - store the key, remove the message. At the end, do the same. Run a loop, from the first key to the second and RCVMSG using the msg key - there's a message to monitor for when it doesn't exist - check msgtype and do the *DIAG thing.

This comes from IBM - there's a KB on it, I forget, something about getting all messages in the job log.

I am struggling with getting a string of CL going to retrieve ALL the
*DIAG messages from my job log at signoff time.

I have tried all kinds of
varations of parms (PGMQ, MSGQ, MSGTYPE, MSGKEY,) but I haven't found
the right combination...

I am going to output the *DIAG messages to a log.
