I have a program that reads source physical file members and executes the
commands therein. The program never needs changing. Only the source members
get tweaked.

Subject: Moving savf files between machines

I would suggest you use FTP. It is using an older technology but it is still
one of the fastest methods to move save file around.

I move my daily IBM i backups (about 6GB each) to 2 Windows servers daily
and it has been quick and faultless. It is fully automated and does not
require a system/computer in between.
