Then again in an ancient 400, after a bad shutdown ipl took over 3
hours, but the important part is to read the SRC, there you will find
the reason for such a long time.
A lot of spooled files contribute to long ipls. but on a 520 with 10
years worth of spool files it only took 20 minutes...

best regards,

Were there any PTFs scheduled for install at IPL?  How long since the last IPL?

Are SRC codes changing, or, if not, what SRC is it stuck on?

Something does seem very odd.  Even the ancient B50 I worked on took
under 20 minutes to IPL.

I scheduled a power down for 1630 and a power up for 1705; and it's
now 1925 and QINTER still isn't active.  Is it normal for some IPLs to
take this long?  It's been over a year since the last IPL and we're on
V5R4M0.
